Job Title: PART TIME RECEPTIONIST

Reports To: Director of Finance & Administration
FLSA Status: Hourly
Summary: The Part Time receptionist is primarily evening and weekends (approx. 5-20 hours/week) based on events at theLynnwoodConvention Center. Duties include answering the phones, greeting guests and providing staff support for the events services team as directed by the Director of Finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•Via the telephone or in person, guide potential clients in the event process by gathering basic event information and, explaining the contracting process.
•Receives all incoming phone calls on theLynnwoodConvention Centerswitchboard, connects clients to the proper extensions, and answers questions concerning upcoming events, ticket prices, etc.
•Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of client/guest requirements to operational departments and service contractors.
•Serve as the first point of contact between clients and guests visiting the facility.
•Available to assist managers, and supervisors as directed by Director of Finance.
•Prepares and maintains files and databases as directed.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Customer Relations, Great friendly attitude, Computer Experience, and ability to multitask. 1-2 years of administrative experience is preferred.
•Strong working knowledge of computers and industry standard software systems, including standard Microsoft Windows operating based platforms such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Access
