Looking for a fun and exciting way to support your community? Would you like to assist a local organization that provides counseling, education and support to local children, youth, adults and families? Center for Human Services has been an area resource for these services since 1970 and would like your support.
The evening will include dinner, a dessert dash and both silent and live auctions."Some of our exciting auction items for this year include trips to Hawaii and Africa, a handmade pie-of-the-month and an autographed Golden Tate photograph," said Rasheedah Burnett, Center for Human Resources Executive Assistant.
The event will help fund services for over 19,000 individuals annually through the non-profit organization's three departments:
-Family Counseling- provides a family centered approach to individual and family counseling; youth anger management groups, intervention programs and suicide education and prevention
-Family Support Centers- prepares children for school, increases adult skills, forms student leaders and connects individuals to resources
-Substance Abuse- delivers drug and alcohol intervention, prevention and treatment services to youth and adults
