LYNNWOOD, WA - Join us on Saturday, July 19 at the Lynnwood Convention Center for the City of Lynnwood's new and FREE community event, Celebrate! Music & Dance Festival. Daytime activities will be held from 10am-4pm and will include multi-cultural music and dance performances on the Rotary Club of Lynnwood Main Stage, arts & crafts in the Hazel Miller Foundation Art & Culture Room, storytelling, photo booth, food trucks, and family-friendly fun! From 5pm-10:30pm join us for interactive art, food trucks, photo booth, beer & wine garden, and live local music on the Rotary Club of Lynnwood Main Stage featuring headliner Hey Marseilles. Entertainment: Daytime entertainment will include the Farraige Mhor Irish Dancers, Guelaguetza (Mexican folk dance), Tusuy Peru (traditional Peruvian dance), Oolleemm Korean Traditional Performing Arts, Melody Institute(traditional and modern Chinese dance), Filipinas Performing Arts, Aaron Taylor &Kontagious Performing Company, Lynnwood Community Band, Peter Ali (Native flutist), Ocheami Culture Club (African drumming), Tae Kwon Do Way, Mak Fai Washington Kung Fu Club Lion Dance Team, New Island United Roots, Robbie Egelstad (Spanish guitar), Emerald Flute Quartet, and Joanne Davis. Evening entertainment will include Will Franz, and Cole Holland performing in the Lynnwood Arts Commission's Creative Space; and performing on the Rotary Club of Lynnwood Main Stage is Dawn Madsen, Spirit of Ojah, The Royal We and headliner, Hey Marseilles.
Food & Beverage: There will be a variety of food trucks and vendors available all day for attendees to purchase snacks, drinks, meals and treats. The Lynnwood Convention Center will also be selling food and beverages. The Lynnwood Convention Center is operating several cash beer and wine bars in the evening.
Getting There & Parking: We encourage attendees to walk, bike, bus or carpool to Celebrate! In addition to the parking at the Lynnwood Convention Center, overflow parking will be available at Alderwood Community Church and Alderwood Business Center. A shuttle will be running between the Convention Center and the Alderwood Business Center in the evening between 5pm - 11pm.
