Our Purpose Statement

To Create, Plan and Execute an outstanding event experience.


In the service moment, “purpose” overrides “task”. It is okay to be off task if you are on purpose. While it is important to complete one’s day-to-day tasks, employees are empowered to take the necessary measures to ensure our purpose statement is being met above all else.

It is important that employees recognize those opportunities to help create and elevate a guest’s experience even if that means going off tasks for a few minutes.

The order in which the Customer Service Principles are prioritized are purposeful. The prioritization clearly communicates the hierarchy of how the Lynnwood Convention Center expects the employee to respond to situations they encounter through their shift.

The principles are, in part, a decision-making tool; providing direction to an employee who is required make decisions and take unplanned action through-out the day. The priority of the principles outlines to the employee the focus management is expecting of the employee and minimizes guess-work.
