Doug
Keith began his professional career as a commercial artist in New York City
shortly after leaving art school in 1974. He relocated to Seattle, Washington
in 1979 for a position with the industrial design firm, Teague Associates. In
1982, he moved on to assistant art director at KIRO TV (CBS) where he received
an Emmy award that same year for graphic design. Doug has over thirty years of
experience in illustration, commercial art, fine art, sculpting and graphic
design. He also has experience working with museums as an independent
contractor in their Collections department fabricating archival mannequins,
mounts, unique storage and installing artifacts for exhibits. Doug’s commissioned
art works are installed at Evergreen Hospital, Puget Sound Energy, Windermere
Real Estate and The University of Washington to name a few. He also illustrates
children’s picture books, Doug’s most recent effort, The Storybook Prince, he
also wrote.
