As an artist I like to show the viewer a painting with texture, vibrancy and fluid brush strokes. In an age of electronics where most images are on a flat screen and created inside a digital world, I feel people want to see images created by hand and can see the mark of an artist. My main medium is oil painting, I love the history, the challenge and the beauty it holds. My latest inspiration is the landscape of the Northwest. My family and I moved to Bellingham in October of 2019. We moved from a small town in the dry rugged desert of Arizona to the water-rich Northwest and I have loved exploring this area with my paint, brush and canvas.
