How are we ensuring the Health and Safety of our clients, employees, guests and the public?

The Lynnwood Convention Center is proud to be a member of VenueShield and has also received GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation.

VenueShield

VenueShield, an internal ASM Global environmental hygiene program, created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a comprehensive and best-in-class program that has been deployed at more than 325 ASM Global facilities around the world, providing the highest levels of cleanliness and safety, while inspiring consumer confidence, all in partnership with leading medical professionals, industry experts and public health officials.

VenueShield provide the most advanced hygienic safeguards that serve ASM Global’s clients, guests, staff, teams, talent and all other visitors. Protocols vary based on the type of facility and will be further customized for each unique location. All policies are aligned with - and informed by - public health authorities, medical and industry experts.

GBAC STAR ACCREDITATION

GBAC STAR™ is a performance-based accreditation program that helps facilities demonstrate they have the work practices, procedures, and protocols to prepare, respond, and recover from outbreaks and pandemics.

The program was developed by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC)), a division of ISSA. GBAC STAR accreditation will help you instill confidence in your customers, sta, and key stakeholders that your facility has the proper cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention systems in place.

Under the guidance of GBAC, Lynnwood Convention Center is implementing the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facility/facilities.

To achieve GBAC STAR™ accreditation, Lynnwood Convention Center has demonstrate compliance with the program’s 20 core elements, which range from standard operating procedures and risk assessment strategies to personal protective equipment and emergency preparedness and response measures.
