Health & Safety

The health and safety of our guests, attendees and employees are our primary focus. The Lynnwood Convention Center and ASM Global, our management company, have taken great measures to ensure the well-being of all those who visit our venue.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made updates to process and procedures based on guidance from health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local government agencies. These measures are outlined below:

Masks are required for all visitors, attendees, staff, and vendors while in the building regardless of vaccine status, per Washington State mandate.
Please keep your mask on until seated and remove it only to enjoy you food and beverage.

Feeling Ill / Have COVID Symptoms

If you are sick, have a fever or displaying symptoms of a cough, body aches, shortness of breath, or fatigue we ask that you not enter the building and visit us once you are feeling better.
Air Quality

Air quality improvements include:
• Increased building’s outside air intake and air exchange rates improving fresh air circulation
• Installation of HVAC air filters with higher efficiency MERV-13 filters.
Sanitization

Sanitization

• ASM Global, the Lynnwood Convention Center’s management company, has introduced an environmental hygiene protocol in response to government guidelines and evolving guest expectations, stemming from the coronavirus pandemic. VenueShield, a comprehensive and best-in class program, has been deployed at more than 325 ASM Global facilities around the world, including here at the Lynnwood Convention Center.

• Lynnwood Convention Center has received GBAC STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, Lynnwood Convention Center has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention in its facility

• High-touch surfaces in public spaces are disinfected hourly

• Electrostatic sprayers are used to sanitize meeting rooms between sessions
Food & Beverage

Our Chef and culinary team are dedicated to not only updating the styles of service and food preparations measures, but also updating the menu itself to best meet the needs of our guests.
• Increased plated meal choices
• Increased boxed meal choices
• Changed Buffets to Action Stations
• Updated break items to Grab & Go

As added precautions, all buffets, food stations and bars are equipped with sneeze guards.

Coffee Service:
• Installation of touch-free spigots on coffee and other beverage urns
• Attended stations and signage to assist with ensuring health measures

Bare Service:
• Moving to cashless
• Installation of new Point of Sales machines to minimize touch points

Water Dispensers:
Stations located in each meeting space will be sanitized before and after each event, as well as each hour during room use.

Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the venue including at guest entrances, in each event space, as well as in pre-function space.
Be reminded that the use of hand sanitizer is not a substitute for hand washing.
Cashless Bars & Concessions

Cashless Bars & Concessions

To further reduce touch points, the Lynnwood Convention Center is now only accepting credit and debit cards at bars and at our concessions stands.

Your Event Manager and team is happy to work with you to offer a social distancing and to design a room layout that best addresses your event needs which accommodating the comfort level our your guests.
Our protocols are under continuous review and are subject to change as we monitor conditions and receive guidance from health and government authorities.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. We ask event organizers and attendees to review the CDC recommendations regarding prevention, especially for those in a high risk category.
